On the evening of March 16th, the historic and cultural district of Small Park in Shantou was brilliantly illuminated.

The inaugural show of the "2026 Shantou Fashion Week," titled "Heritage in Fashion: Shantou Shines at Small Park," successfully took place, hosted by the Shantou Textile and Garment Industry Association.

This fashion extravaganza, as a sub-venue of the 5th Chaoshan International Textile and Apparel Expo, transformed the century-old arcade street into a runway, where intangible cultural heritage met modern fashion. Forty professional models from home and abroad, dressed in conceptual runway attire, gracefully emerge from the depths of the arcade buildings, staging a cross-temporal fashion dialogue.

The intricate gold-thread embroidery of Chaoshan embroidery flows along the hem of the skirt, while the delicate openwork of drawnwork breathes in the play of light and shadow. The classic elements of Teochew opera collide with modern tailoring, sparking new creativity, and the inspiration from golden phoenix flowers captures the elegance of Eastern aesthetics...
