The China Textile and Apparel Trade Show (New York) 2025 kicked off in grandeur at New York City’s Javits Center from July 23-25, local time!

To support Shantou textile and apparel enterprises in expanding overseas markets, securing orders, and elevating the industry’s global brand presence, the association organized a delegation of member companies to New York, USA, marking the second sTop of its International Exhibition Tour.

At the New York exhibition, the Association fully leveraged its role as an industrial bridge, conducting in-depth research into each participating company’s product strengths to build a comprehensive product database. It meticulously curated over 100 products from nearly 30 member enterprises for display, spanning categories including Underwear, sleepwear, sportswear and yoga apparel, Shapewear, knitwear, fabrics, and lace—showcasing the manufacturing prowess and design capabilities of Shantou’s textile and garment industry.


On the opening day, Mr. Yao Wenliang, Economic and Commercial Counselor of the Consulate General of China in New York, leaders from the Sub-Council of Textile Industry (CCPIT TEX), and executives from Messe Frankfurt visited the booth for guidance. Representatives from the Association Secretariat provided detailed updates on the exhibition, Shantou’s core product advantages, and the collaboration between local enterprises and the U.S. market.

Leveraging professional language skills and industry expertise, the Secretariat presented product offerings and systematically showcased Shantou’s integrated supply chain advantages and R&D capabilities through the 'Premium Fabric Collection'—accelerating order conversion. Buyers demonstrated strong business interest in products including lingerie, sleepwear, nursing bras, knitwear, and shapewear. Even before the exhibition concluded, the Association received design specifications from multiple clients, which will be prioritized for allocation to participating member companies.

In a major debut, the Association’s ‘Shantou Textile’ independent platform premiered offline at the exhibition! Global buyers scanned QR codes to access the site—creating an ‘offline experience + online sourcing’ loop that enables real-time product selection and direct sourcing from manufacturers!
Through this exhibition, Shantou textile enterprises captured international attention with premium products and innovative capabilities, demonstrating the remarkable success of their collective expansion strategy through significant secured intent orders! From August 5-7, the Association will lead member companies and showcase competitive products at the GOTEX São Paulo International Apparel Sourcing Fair in Brazil—elevating the industry’s global brand profile and accelerating market entry across Latin America!
